European affairs in Western Balkans Region
Interreg IPA Cross Border Cooperation supports cross-border co-operation between candidate countries, potential candidate countries and EU Member States, to contribute in their accession preparations with a territorial and cross-border focus.
Interreg Transnational cooperation, known as Interreg B, involves regions from several countries of the EU forming bigger areas where it aims to promote better cooperation and regional development within the Union by a joint approach to tackle common issues.
Interreg is one of the key instruments of the European Union (EU) supporting cooperation across borders, through project funding. IPC WB has been at the heart of Interreg instruments in the Western Balkans region for over a decade. Through our experts’ intimate knowledge of the fields we operate in, and hundreds of real life projects, we engage daily in promoting and stimulating development in Health, Research, Education & Labour, Energy, Environment & Circular Economy, ICT, Tourism, Transport, Water, Youth and more, through the work of our thematic Committees. We are dedicated to ensuring growth and sustainability of progressive actions in these sectors.
